There is a lot of uncertainty concerning COVID-19, social distancing, and maintaining regular services, such as house cleaning. As one of the premier cleaning companies in the Toronto area, Madam Clean is dedicated to serving the needs of our community, our clients, and our staff as the outbreak evolves. Below, we’ve explained how we can proceed with our Toronto house cleaning services while ensuring the safety of our clients and team.

Health & Safety

Before we enter your home, all of our cleaning equipment is sanitized. This includes our vacuums, mops, and more. Our fabrics, such as cleaning towels, are sanitized and disinfected daily, and each set is used only for one household. If you are still concerned, we are always willing to use the supplies you provide instead.

Our cleaning staff each wears gloves during their visit. They also make sure to use hand sanitizer and properly wash their hands before each cleaning session. We also do not allow any employee who is showing signs of being sick to come in for work. We also make a point of servicing no more than two clients each day to help minimize contact and chances of transmission.

Additional Services

In addition to our cleaning best practices, we have also introduced additional procedures to help increase the rate of disinfection. We offer specific sanitization and disinfection packages for high touch areas. This service targets areas in your home that see a lot of hand traffic such as doorknobs, light switches, control panels, handrails, and more. We use virus and bacteria-killing agents to disinfect these areas, and it is important to keep in mind that the wet chemicals must sit on the surface to be effective.

How You Can Help

While our team members are dedicated to ensuring that they do not transport COVID-19 into your home, we also ask that you inform us if anyone in your home has shown signs of illness. This will allow us to cancel the service or reschedule it for a safer time. To help make this process easier, we have waived our cancellation fees during this critical time.

We also request that those in the home maintain social distancing while our team is cleaning your home. In all cases, this means that you should maintain a distance of no less than six feet from each cleaner while they are servicing your home. If possible, it is a good idea to stay in a different room than the one being cleaned during the service.

Service Changes

Madam Clean understands that a lot of factors are not in your control during this uncertain time. If you are a client that is signed up for regular cleanings, we are happy to reserve your spot while pausing service. The rate you currently pay will remain the same when your service resumes.
